Storms almost curtail Turvey Park

Late Spring storms sweeping across Wagga Wagga meant our first Street and Park event was almost a non-event. Thunder, hail and driving rain across Wagga dissuaded most from attending.  Those few that did turn up at Harris Park at 6:00 pm however, were greeted by bright sunshine and clearing skies.  Unfortunately, there were only 3 competitors but they all enjoyed the excellent conditions.

Jack Janetski continues to improve with every outing and he raced around the 45 minutes course to record a very strong 210 points (and he was back 3 1/2 minutes early!) Jack opted to get all the high scoring controls around the edge of the map and those accounted for 150 of his points.  Alex Davey was well back on 170 points.

Tom Janetski was the sole competitor on the 30 minute course and he finished with a cretitable 45 points.

Next event is Thursday 29th November, from Fife Gardens in Boronia St, Kooringal, starts between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.  Hopefully a better weather day!
